Eleanor's Evening

New product

  • Eleanor is a Cotswold x English Mule sheep living in the glorious Wiltshire countryside.
  • She grew her fleece especially for you - and to keep herself warm, of course.
  • I took her soft, shiny locks, dyed them and blended them with some silk on my drum carder to create this batt.
  • It's 50g, 80% Eleanor's wool and 20% silk.
  • I chose the colours of a fabulous Wiltshire sunset for this batt. The orange silk is streaked through the middle of the fibre blend, with some bluey purple silk enhancing it, and some threads of silk throwsters waste giving more texture.
  • You could use it for feltmaking or spinning a luscious art yarn.
