Cotswold Locks North Meadow

New product

  • Dyed Cotswold locks from one of our very special flock of sheep, Louie Purl.
  • Louie is a pedigree Cotswold sheep, living in the glorious Wiltshire countryside. He grew these locks especially for you.
  • I washed them and dyed them these bodacious colours so you can use them for felting, spinning, doll-making, knitting or crochet.
  • The locks are c.8-10 inches long (they vary) and were hand dyed using acid dyes.
  • The pack weighs 25g.
  • The colourway North Meadow is part of our Wiltshire collection, inspired by the county in which we live. In the very north of Wiltshire, just outside the town of Cricklade, North Meadow is a water meadow internationally known for its wide range of rare wild flowers. The purple and white of the snakes' head fritillary is represented in this colourway, as are the yellow kingcups.
