  • Colourway 'Royal Wootton Bassett' is based on the red, yellow and black of our local town's crest, together with a royal purple.
  • The yarn is spun by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall
  • Shropshire sheep are a traditional breed, a handsome black-faced sheep which is often used to graze in orchards, since the sheep won't attack the bark of the trees. Their wool is springy and hard-wearing, but still soft.
  • The yarn is dyed by hand, using acid dyes, which are non-toxic
  • Recommended needle size is 4-5mm, each skein contains c.159m of yarn
